In the light of the findings of Vision 2010 PSL has reviewed its Vision, mission and strategy so that it can offer organisations the benefits of its expertise and knowledge in the face of huge change and uncertainty.
Network membership and business relationship management
In addition to the Board of Directors, PSL is supported by a Steering Group of twenty senior procurement professionals and academics working in the purchasing and supply field. The knowledge and expertise of the steering group is a valuable resource on which PSL draws. To provide greater access to knowledge on organisational relationships PSL has launched the Network Membership Scheme (contact PSL for details). This aims to build a community of like-minded people and support best practice in all aspects of business relationship management. The process of generating ideas within PSL, the Steering Group and the Network membership on the management of value chains, and of discussing, interpreting, articulating and disseminating those ideas, is summed-up in The virtuous circle of PSL as 'the virtuous circle of PSL'.
